In 2020, new population data was collected through the US Census. This data is used to re-adjust the size of state legislative House and Senate districts.
Sublette County's population declined by more than 1500 people. The county's population is too small to warrant its own representative in the Wyoming House.
My legislative experience and leadership positions helped me keep Sublette County whole in the redistricting process. By including the LaBarge area in District 20, our district achieved the required population. As part of Sublette County School District #9, the LaBarge area is a natural fit within House District 20.
